Pro Football's Stars of the Defense

As the opposing team advances down the field, the cry of “Defense” is heard from fans. Winning doesn’t depend solely on scoring; preventing the opposition’s drive is equally important. Great defensive players from eight teams get the respect they deserve in Pro Football’s Stars of the Defense, an entry in the Football-o-Rama series. Each player’s basic information (position, weight, height, etc.) along with a small portrait shot introduces a page of description, information on his big season or game, and a full-color page showing him in action. The last pages have an illustration of where the defense lines up on the field, a glossary of terms that appeared in boldface, a brief bibliography, and an index.
